For this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches, i hope that you all have the Happiest of Holidays!  This challenge is being sponsored by Melissa, owner of Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Here is my card, please come and join us at Tuesday Morning Sketches for this TWO week challenge:

I choose this sketch for this two week challenge because i had made up the card extra for this challenge and it didn't get used.  Seeing as DT card makers don't get vacation (sometimes) this is allowing me to have a real two week vacation.

Digital Delights and Snowball Andy!

This little cutie at Digital Delights is so cute..and he has a sister named Sarah.  He is called, Snowball Andy.  I also used the Background Window set (it comes with 3 windows and designs).  This design didn't have a scene so i thought i'd use it as an embellishment.  I cut out each pane and lined the back with pattern paper. (my tip for cutting out he panes, is to hole punch first and then cut out..or if you are really good with a x-acto art knife and metal ruler like my daughter is..that would be quicker)

Here is the card i made for the Digital Delights Blog: (next week i will be using Snowball Sarah, Andy's sister!)

Dies used on this card are:

Sami Stamps- Silent Night

Sami Stamps has released 2 relatively newer fox images in her shop.  They are adorable.  I decided to use this one called "Sunny Spot" as a Christmas image.

Oh and guess what?  This image is a custom stamp..yep, that's right..you can request for Sami to make a custom stamp for you..she does it two ways and the info is here.

I have embossed the background using a embossing folder from Darice called Snowflake swirl and I used a Memory Box die called Tall Birch #98336 for the background.  The snowflakes in antique gold glitter paper are from Cheery Lynn dies #C146.

** Top Tip Tuesday-  I've off centered the diecut birch trees to give a shadow and then i cut one more of lighter cardstock to give the tree some distance/depth.

Copics used:
E02, 11, 02, 97
nose- E29
foliage- E43
white- W1, CB
I painted the entire oval with Extreme Glitter Paint/hologram

I've used a sketch from Sketch Saturday, i used the trees in place of the rectangle:

Snow Mail/ Special Delivery!

I have to tell you this story.  When i first started card making, i educated myself on how to color w/copics with two friends..we encouraged each other.  That lead to purchasing digital images which lead to my first Design Team commitment with Digi My World.  That commitment lead to another Design Team (that no longer exists) ...stay with me...that lead to Card Crafter's Circle DT...trust me i am getting to my point.. :0)  On that DT i was honored to work with many sponsors images and one of them happened to be Stamp Art by Kathryne.  Let me say, that she is one of the most kindest, talented and generous people out there.

So my point, I was asked to Guest Design for this month and January for Stamp Art by Kathryne and i am so honored to be asked. Thank you Kathryne!

Click Here to see all of the images at Stamp Art by Kathryne.
Stamp Art by Kathryne's blog is here.

Here is the cute image i got to work with..This image is called Snow Mail and you can find it by clicking Here.

I am trying to keep with the mail theme, so i used my Spellbinders "stamp" die.  I've also used Cheery Lynn's snowflake die set..you get all of these snowflakes and 4 more on one die.

I am still learning the chunky enamel embossing technique, but this time with a twist, i used Stampin Up embossing folder..i think it is called "lattice"..and i am not sure if it is still available..but there are others out there that would accomplish the same effect.

The pinecones came in a bundle at Michaels with the red berries.

Copics used:
snowman- W1, 3, R0000, CB
hat- YG03, 17, 67, R35, 37, 39
scarf- BG11, 13, 18
buttons- YG03, 67
twig arms- E25, 29
bird- R20, 22, 24, BG11, 13, 18
noses-YR12, 04
hat fur/pompom- C0, 01, CB

I used Stickles/diamond for the fur, Extreme Glitter Paint/hologram for the snowman/snow.

I've made several cards using Kathryne's images if you are interested click here and all of the posts will come up for you...

Another Striped Ornament from Sami Stamps

I am really enjoying this striped ornament image from Sami Stamps and thought i'd make another one. I am making this one for a different challenge with an  inspirational photo with the hopes of entering it in some other Christmas challenges as well.
Here is my card:
And the side view:
I find this card to be interesting because i used clear gems and when i took the photo straight on, the gems looked metallic..maybe it is a reflection of the dark clothes i have on?
I did paper piece this ornament also.  Added a bit of Stickles/diamond and Gelly Roll/clear star.  I also used Copic- C1, 3 for shading and C0, 1 for the dots in the background with a slight touch of the Gelly Roll pen.  The Evergreen sprigs are a die from Doo Hickeys.
